Dr. Luis C. Omphroy, Board Certified as Diplomate of The American Board of Ophthalmology and Fellow of The American Academy of Ophthalmology has been providing advanced medical and surgical eye care to Hawaii’s residents since 2001. He specializes in advanced premium cataract surgery using the latest technology with the goal of minimizing his patient’s dependence on glasses after cataract surgery as well as performing advanced pterygium surgery and anterior segment reconstruction.
Dr. Omphroy is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Iowa Eye Association, the American Medical Association, the Hawaii Medical Association, and the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Omphroy’s free time has been spent teaching and coaching his two sons in competitive baseball and daughter in competitive swimming; He enjoys stand up paddling and spending quality time with his wife, three children, and two dogs.
